I AM READY is Hollywood Cares' signature youth development initiative, created to equip young people with the confidence, skills, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Through leadership experiences, mentorship, wellness programming, and career-connected learning, we help young people discover their potential and prepare for success in school, work, and life. As the initiative grows, the I AM READY Stockton Youth Center will expand this work by providing integrated behavioral health services, peer respite, workforce pathways, and year-round programming for youth and families.
Discover. Youth Leadership Summits introduce young people to leadership, wellness, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and new possibilities for their future.
Develop. Hands-on workshops and experiences build leadership, life skills, financial literacy, career readiness, and personal growth.
Connect. Youth build meaningful relationships with mentors, professionals, and community leaders who inspire confidence and expand opportunity.

The I AM READY Stockton Youth Center is the future home of Hollywood Cares' flagship youth development initiative, a first-of-its-kind destination where young people and families can access the support, relationships, and opportunities they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Designed to address the whole person, the center will bring together integrated behavioral health services, peer respite, youth leadership development, workforce pathways, certified peer support, and family-centered resources under one roof. By combining prevention, healing, and opportunity in a single community hub, the center will help young people build resilience, develop leadership skills, and prepare for lifelong success.
Hollywood Cares is proud to have received a $12.4 million award through California's Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) to bring this vision to life. Scheduled to open in 2028, the center will expand access to critical mental health services while creating a welcoming space where Stockton's young people can connect, belong, and discover their full potential.

Hollywood Cares builds stronger communities by creating opportunities for connection, service, and support throughout the year. Through signature events like Toys for Joy, National Night Out, family resource events, and other community initiatives, we bring people together, respond to local needs, and strengthen the relationships that make lasting impact possible.
To date, our community engagement efforts have served more than 5,000 families, creating moments of joy, trust, and belonging across Stockton.
